Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
At Smart Mini, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since your purchase was delivered, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Unlike many retailers, we accept returns even if the package has been opened, as long as the product is in resalable condition with all original components and packaging materials. We understand you need to try the Smart Mini to determine if it meets your needs.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, such as your order number or the email address used when placing the order.
Non-returnable Items:
- Products that have been damaged due to misuse, drops, water damage beyond normal waterproof specifications, or other physical damage
Warranty Information
All Smart Mini speakers and official accessories come with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. Our warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Hardware failures under normal use
- Battery performance issues (if battery capacity falls below 70% within first year)
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage from accidents, misuse, or abuse
- Normal wear and tear
- Water damage beyond the product’s waterproof rating (immersion deeper than 1 meter or longer than 30 minutes)
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Cosmetic damage that doesn’t affect functionality
- Products with serial numbers that have been removed or altered
To make a warranty claim, please contact our support team with your order number and a description of the issue. We may request photos of the product or proof of purchase.
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed within 3-5 business days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet:
- Check your bank account or credit card statement again
- Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted
- Contact your bank, as there is often some processing time before a refund is posted

Sale Items
Items purchased on sale are eligible for refunds under the same terms as regular-priced items.
Exchanges
If you’ve received a defective product or the wrong item, please contact our support team at [email protected] before sending anything back. For exchanges of the same item, we’ll provide you with a return label and instructions once your exchange request is approved.
Gift Returns
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Please note:
- You are responsible for paying return shipping costs
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns
- Return shipping costs are non-refundable
- If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will not be deducted from your refund
